Initial Contact With Architect
This is when our architect staff will make their first introduction with our client. At this stage we will gather initial data about your project for additional review by our staff. This can typically be done over the phone or in person.
Preliminary Meeting With Architect
This is a free consultation meeting we will setup with you and our staff architect to discuss in detail your project and provide you with suggestions and options on a path forward. We will supply you with the result of our preliminary zoning requirement investigation and provide you with cost models based on your expressed project.
Once we get the clients approval to proceed our architects and designers will start a detailed design and establish our formal working relationship under contract work. We will then set a follow up meeting to present the path forward and answer additional questions.
Once you approve the initial design we will move to our design development stage. Here we will prepare the building sectors, door schedules, window schedules, finishes, lighting, electrical, heating and air conditioning. We will review all these with you and make any changes necessary.
At this stage we prepare the structural sheets which includes the foundation plan, framing and construction details. Calculations will be prepared and the complete package will be submitted to the Building and Planning Departments to obtain Building Permits. We will proved you with weekly updates on the status of the project.
This is an additional service we provide to all our clients as a direct benifit without cost. We will submit your plans to several established and trustworthy contractors to obtain a detailed construction cost bid and review this in detail with you.
During the construction stage the lead architect will provide you with site visits and will be available to answer any questions your contractor might have. Our job is not done until your project is finished.
